Språkvingen offers reading guidance
It is now possible to get advice and support for reading academic texts at Language Resource Centre/Språkvingen.
The language and text centre changes its name and is now called Språkvingen.
Tutoring and drop-in
Due to the adaptation of distant teaching at University West, all drop-in and tutoring sessions will be held online via the e-meeting tool Zoom, for the time being.
In order to be able to book a writing tutoring session, you need to register to get access to the Canvas page “Språkvingen”. Register here!
The following is offered in tutoring:
- Dialogue about structure, style and language
- Guidance in how to continue working with your language skills on your own
- Tips and advice on how to plan your writing and your studies
N.B. Språkvingen does not offer advice on content, proof reading or editing services
During a reading tutoring session we talk about things which work well or things which do not work well and then we try different reading strategies on a specific text.
The reading tutoring session takes 60 minutes and they are offered twice a week.
