Essay Templates in Word
Here you will find cover templates and instructions for writing essays and degree projects at University West. There are general instructions and others that are specific for certain departments.
Using Word in your essay writing
The library has compiled a number of video guides that are aimed at those who are writing a report or degree project. In the guides, you can get help with page numbering, table of contents, heading templates, section breaks, essay templates, adjusting tables, and more.
Note! Word Online differs in appearance and functionality from the software. As a student, you can download Word to your computer.
On the university's page for press and media you will find University West's logos.
Templates and instructions
Below you will find the templates and instructions we have received from the university's departments. Note that you should always check in your Canvas course or with your teacher which template or instruction applies.
To be able to use and change the template, you first need to save it.
Do you lack a template for degree projects from your department?
It may also be that the template has been removed because it did not meet the requirements for accessibility adaptation. Some departments avoid templates because a degree project can be set up quite differently depending on the research question, choice of method, theoretical background, etc.
Contact your supervisor to know more, see if the template is available in Canvas or see if you can get guidance through your Study Guide/Course PM.
