You need permission from the publishing house when you deposit your work in an open archive, such as DiVA, and you need the right version of the article. The majority of publishers allow authors to self-archive their work. To find out the restrictions of your publisher, you can search for the journal title or publisher in Sherpa/RoMEO or contact your publishing house.

In general you can deposit the post-print of the article, called the author's version, i.e. the final, peer-reviewed version but without the publisher's layout and formatting.
