Register research in DiVA

DiVA is a system for electronic publishing and registration of publications produced by researchers, teachers and students.

Why publish in DiVA?

• Increase visibility both for you as a researcher and for University West
• Accelerate dissemination of research results
• Make publications indexed by search engines such as Google
• Long-term preserve your work
• Make your publications freely available

How do you do it?

1. Always search DiVA before you make your registration to check if the material is not already uploaded. The librarian who will complete the registration will give feedback if something is unclear.
   
   
2. Fill out the form below to make your registration. You must also attach/submit documentation in the form of proceedings, books, links, etc., which the library retains and in some cases incorporates into our collections.
   It is important that you fill in whether the publication we are registering belongs to one of the research environments in terms of content.
   
   
3. The library's research support aims to register your submitted publications within 3 weeks.
4. You increase the visibility of your publication if you also want to self-archive; so-called green open access – contact the library's research support if you need help with questions about this.

Good to know

NB! The publication is said to have been published while the author has been employed at University West.

Each publication in DiVA gets a permanent link, i.e. a unique address that can be used in your CV, for example.

In addition to scientific publications, we are happy to add other material, such as reviews, newspaper articles and popular science material.

We only post material that has already been published (i.e. not only submitted, in press, etc.).

In the case of conference papers, we need to state ISBN/ISSN if possible. Documentation from the conference (e.g. proceedings) in printed or electronic form is required for the contribution to be published in DiVA. If you have a conference publication, we are happy to receive it in the library.
