Book a librarian for students
Individual tutoring with a librarian can help you with e.g. finding useful search terms, choosing databases, reference management and help to use the right search techniques.
If you have simple questions about information retrieval, we recommend that you primarily use the library chat or Zoom.
Who can book?
Tutoring is a service we offer students who have already participated in teaching in information retrieval offered and the workshops that follow this occasion but who need additional support to move forward in the information seeking process. Together with a librarian, you search for material, search for keywords/subject headings and test relevant search techniques.
You cannot book supervision if you are a student at another university. Contact your university's library instead.
Researchers, associate professors and doctoral students are referred to the library's research support.
How do I book?
You book tutoring at least 48 hours in advance, but it is not always possible to get an appointment that quickly. The tutorial lasts 45 minutes.
Periodically, we have a lot of teaching sessions and workshops and then the number of bookable times decreases.
