The library research support
For those who are researchers or doctoral students at University West, there is support aavailable from the library.
We can help with e.g. information retrieval, reference management/EndNote, publishing strategies, open access and bibliometrics/alternative measurement methods.
Book at least one weekday in advance. Once you have submitted your booking, you will receive a confirmation email. The tutorial is 1 hour. If you don't have time to wait, you can always turn to the library information desk, chat and Zoom during weekdays to get help directly with shorter questions.
Make your research accessible to everyone
In research, open access at all stages is a basic prerequisite from start to finish. The library informs and supports you in this process and its concepts. Read more about accessible research through open science and how you can publish with open access.
We can also support you in the process of obtaining a researcher ID (ORCID) and your publication in DiVA.
Reference, publish and measure
A large part of the research is about referencing and publishing in the right way, and this is where the library can help you. Through statistical analysis of publications, bibliometrics, the library measures research at different levels. Read more about analysis of your and others' research (research data, bibliometrics, altmetrics, etc.).
Take part in the library's guides in reference management and reference management software, EndNote.
