How to log in to your library account

As a student or staff, you log in to our loan machines with your Swedish personal identity number or West card. On the web, log in with your username (four letters, four numbers. For example, buba0001).

As a member of the public or a student at another university, log in with your Swedish personal identity number and PIN code.

As a staff member in NU healthcare, log in with your VGR ID.

Log in to your loan account

The borrower is personally responsible for everything borrowed on the account until the account is closed. Read more about loan rules for all our borrowers.

Get a loan account as a student and staff

Students and staff at University West are automatically given a library account at the library. The West card, which you can pick up in the ServiceCenter, is linked to your library account.

All changes, such as changes of address, change of PIN code, etc. are made on My Account and are automatically transferred to our library system. Therefore you do not need to turn to the library to make these updates.

Get a loan account as a member of the public or as a staff member of NU healthcare

As a student at another university or as staff within NU healthcare, you need to fill in your information in our loan form to get a loan account. After that, visit the library on site to show your ID.

You must be 16 years or older to get a loan account with us.

If you are a new arrival in Sweden and want to borrow books from us, come to the library or contact us for more information.

A change of address and a change of email address must be reported to the library. If you have provided an email address, all messages from the library will be sent to your email only.
