In order to find a book and where it is located, you need to search in the Library Search system. If you are at the library, you will find computers that can be used to search for everything the library provides access to.
Reserve the book
If you reserve a book it will be placed on the on-hold shelf for you. To do this, search for the book in the library's search service, click on Access options and then click Place a hold. Log in to your library account with your username and password and then click Send to place the hold.
You will receive an email when the book has been collected and placed on the on-hold shelf.
Note! Reservations are picked once a day. If you arrive before this time to pick up the book, it may still be on the shelf. A book that still is on the shelf can be borrowed by another patron.
Where's the book?
The books in the library are arranged by topic, either by number or letter codes, and you must search for a book in the system to find the exact code.
808.027 Neville - Find the book shelf with close by numbers, go digit by digit to find the exact digit combination, then look alphabetically for Neville. There are some separators with code numbers which can help you to locate the book easily.
If you have ordered a book, and received a message that the book has arrived, it is located on the waiting shelf. The books are shelved after your last pick-up date.
