Nailing of dissertation

At Spiker's corner on the upper floor of the library, doctoral students nail their doctoral theses. The pun Spiker's corner got its name because the doctoral student nails his thesis with a nail, called "spik" in Swedish. In the university calendar, you can see which events are planned in the future.

Book releases

If an employee at University West has published a book, the library can arrange a book release. During a book release, the author presents their book and the celebration ends with a toast. Book releases take place at Spiker's corner on the upper floor of the library. Keep an eye on the calendar for the next book release.
